About Nicole
Founder of The Tidy Organizer
(Helping ADHD brains find calm, one tidy habit at a time)
Hi, I’m Nicole, and if you’ve ever felt like keeping your home organized is an uphill battle, you’re definitely not alone. I started The Tidy Organizer because I’ve lived that chaos too. You know that frustrating cycle where clutter piles up, systems break down, and you never quite feel “on top” of anything? Add ADHD to the mix, and it can feel impossible.
Why I Created This Blog
Living with ADHD means traditional organization advice often falls flat. “Just clean as you go!” “Stay consistent!” “Use one of these 37 matching storage bins!” Sound familiar?
Here’s the thing: most organizing tips aren’t built with neurodivergent minds in mind. We think differently. We function differently. And that’s not a flaw. It just means we need a different kind of system.
I created The Tidy Organizer to share exactly that: practical, ADHD-friendly systems that don’t rely on willpower, perfectionism, or those mysterious bursts of motivation that strike at 2 a.m. These are real-world strategies for real people who are doing their best but still feel overwhelmed by everyday tasks.
What You’ll Find Here
Whether your laundry is staging a rebellion, your counters never stay clear, or you can’t remember the last time you actually saw your dining table, I’ve been there. This blog is here to help you:
- Build easy systems that actually stick (even on those low-energy days)
- Learn ADHD cleaning strategies that work with how your brain operates
- Break free from the guilt of “not being tidy enough”
- Create calm, functional spaces that support your well-being
- Develop tiny, tidy habits that actually last
Every tip I share has been tested in the real world. It’s all rooted in compassion and designed to help you take small steps toward feeling more in control, not more pressured.
My Mission
The Tidy Organizer exists to help you feel capable again. I believe everyone deserves a home that feels manageable, not overwhelming. A space that supports your brain instead of draining it.
This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about making progress in a way that honors your energy, your neurodivergence, and your goals.
If you’re tired of organizing advice that makes you feel like a failure, I’m so glad you’re here. Let’s build systems that work for you, not the other way around.
You’re not lazy. You’re not broken. You just need the right tools.
And that’s what I’m here to help you find, one tidy habit at a time.
💛 Nicole
